Signals

Signals — monitoring what's happening at your accounts

Signals track what's happening at a target account — leadership changes, hiring trends, new technology, strategic announcements — so your team always has a reason to reach out.

Two types of Signals

AI-generated Signals — AccountOS creates these automatically when you turn on Deep Intelligence. They monitor the account for you and update on AI-managed schedules.

User-created Signals — You set these up yourself. Write a plain-language prompt (e.g. "Monitor when this company hires VP-level roles in Sales") and pick how often it refreshes: every 1, 7, 14, or 30 days. These work even without Deep Intelligence.

Signal lifecycle

Every Signal goes through three stages:

  • Pending — being set up and validated

  • Tracking — active and running

  • Deactivated — switched off (by you, or automatically for AI Signals)

What you see on a Signal card

  • What the Signal is monitoring

  • Whether the sentiment is positive, negative, or neutral

  • Source links to the underlying evidence

  • Which Whitespaces this Signal is connected to

  • History from previous refresh cycles

How to create a Signal

  1. Click Create Signal from the Accounts page or inside the Signals tab

  2. Write a plain-language title and monitoring prompt

  3. Pick a refresh frequency

  4. Hit Add Signal

Tip: You can create Signals for all accounts in a Segment at once — great for running topic monitoring across a whole campaign or territory.
