Account A company you are tracking in AccountOS. Every account must be placed in at least one Segment when you add it.
Segment A list of accounts grouped together — by territory, campaign, deal stage, or whatever works for your team. Segments are shared with the whole team. One account can be in multiple segments.
Deep Intelligence A switch you turn on per account to activate the full AI research layer. When it is off, you still get useful basic info. When it is on, features like Whitespaces, Relationship Network, Workforce Analytics, and Competitive Intelligence become available.
Basic State What you see before Deep Intelligence is on. Includes the company profile, Org Chart, contacts, CRM deals (if your CRM is connected), and email history (if your email is connected).
Whitespace An AI-spotted sales opportunity at a target account — a place where your product could be a fit, even if your team hasn't discovered it yet. Each Whitespace has a priority score: Act Now, Investigate, or Monitor.
Whitespaces are AI-generated and are different from real CRM deals (called Opportunities).
Opportunity A real deal pulled in from your CRM (Salesforce, MS Dynamics). Only visible when your CRM is connected to AccountOS.
Buyer Committee When AccountOS finds a Whitespace, it also recommends the right contacts to approach for that specific opportunity. These contacts make up the Buyer Committee. Each contact gets a Decision Score and a role label (Decision Maker, Economic Buyer, Technical Buyer, User Buyer, Coach, Business User).
Signal (AI-generated) A topic AccountOS automatically monitors for an account once Deep Intelligence is on — things like leadership changes, new hires, or technology announcements.
Signal (User-created) A monitoring topic you set up yourself in plain language. You pick how often it refreshes. Works without Deep Intelligence.
Contact Card A compact tile showing a contact's name, job title, and location. Tap to open the full Contact Side Drawer.
Contact Side Drawer The full contact profile. Opens when you click any contact anywhere in AccountOS. Shows their background, connection paths to your team, linked deals, and lets you enrich their email/phone.
Warm Intro Path A shared connection between someone on your team and a contact at the target account — via past employers, schools, or LinkedIn. Use it to get a warmer introduction instead of cold outreach.
Personalized Message An AI-written outreach message for a specific contact or warm intro. You can edit it before sending. Send directly via Slack from inside AccountOS.
Activities All email conversations between your team and the target account, in one feed. Requires Gmail or Outlook to be connected.
Champion Contacts People at the target account who used to work at your company — potential deal advocates.
Internal Advocates People on your team who previously worked at the target account — great for internal briefings before outreach.
Decision Score An AI score showing how important it is to engage a specific contact for a given Whitespace. Higher score = higher priority.
Quick note on naming:
You may occasionally see "Opportunity" used where "Whitespace" is intended — the platform is being updated. Rule of thumb: Whitespace = AI-found potential; Opportunity = real CRM deal.
