To begin, access the Database Search feature—your comprehensive universe for accounts and contacts discovery. This interface serves as the foundation for refined prospecting, providing access to all available accounts and contact records

Upon entering the Database Search view, a variety of intuitive filters appear, designed to help narrow your results based on your needs. These filters allow for granular control, including categories such as ICP criteria, specific companies, Headquarter locations, industry sectors, and targeted company keywords. Each option brings a unique perspective to your account discovery process, ensuring that you can finely tailor the list to your business priorities.

If you already have a well-defined ICP, utilizing the Account ICP filter prioritizes those accounts aligned with your ICP criteria. If you are still developing your ICP framework, taking advantage of Sprouts' recommended ICP ensures a baseline for effective segmentation, expediting your research process without sacrificing quality.

For more specific targeting, the Account Level Filters option enables the identification of individual companies as well through Company filter. This filter is particularly efficient when managing single or bulk additions, allowing you to swiftly upload and focus on a curated set of companies that meet initial prospecting requirements.

Location and industry information further sharpens your targeting strategy. The Location filter zeroes in on headquarter regions of interest, while the Account Industry filter distinguishes relevant industry segments most likely to benefit from your solution. Together, these filters provide a multidimensional view into your addressable market.

Leverage the Company Keyword filter to discover accounts with key attributes or interests. For instance, when focusing on companies involved in ERP solutions, simply entering "ERP" instantly isolates organizations whose operational focus or offerings align with your search intent. This facilitates direct engagement with prospects most compatible with your product or service proposition.

Understanding internal organizational structures can be pivotal for value-driven outreach. The Employees by Department filter reveals departmental sizes across target companies, informing messaging strategies and helping to gauge the scale of potential opportunity. For example, B2B products related to sales automation benefit from identifying companies with robust sales teams, maximizing the effectiveness of tailored outreach.

The platform allows for deeper organizational analysis through the Employee Count and Revenue filters. By specifying desired thresholds for employee numbers and revenue scales, you ensure prospect lists are tailored to your firm’s capacity and objectives. Additionally, integrating a tech stack criterion locates organizations that utilize technologies relevant to your solution, presenting new areas for synergy.

For a comprehensive understanding of financial health and maturity, explore the Funding and Year Founded filters. These options allow you to shortlist businesses with compatible funding profiles and assess organizational longevity, while SIC and NAICS code filters ensure precise industry categorzation, supporting highly targeted outreach.

To identify emerging opportunities, consult the Job Opening filter, which highlights companies in active hiring phases. Such businesses may be experiencing growth or transformation, creating timely prospects for sales engagement or partnership acquisition.

Greater depth can be achieved by examining the roles and departments for which these companies are recruiting. Supplement this insight with additional markers such as business model (B2B vs. B2C), organizational status (profit, nonprofit, government), operational scope (product/service), and global presence to comprehensively qualify each prospect.

Once all filters have been purposefully selected and your account list has been curated, seamlessly add these accounts to a dedicated list for continued prospecting or qualification. This step ensures systematic organization and enables continued focus on the most promising targets.

Transitioning to the contacts associated with these accounts, view the enriched results shaped by your earlier filters. This universe now reflects only those prospects who align intimately with your defined ICP and account level parameters.

For greater refinement, implement contact-level filters such as job title, department, and seniority. Targeting by these criteria facilitates precise stakeholder mapping and ensures outreach initiatives engage the key decision-makers and influencers within each organization.

With your list of relevant contacts finalized, proceed to add them to lists or directly qualify them for movement into your targeted outreach profiles. The system transparently displays the total available contacts, capturing both new and previously saved records, ensuring complete visibility into the breadth of your prospecting base.

High-value, reusable searches may be saved for future access. Assign a descriptive name or leverage existing titles, safeguarding the effort invested in crafting powerful filter combinations and facilitating instant recall for subsequent campaigns.

For further personalization, adjust the display by selecting Edit View; this flexibility enables the customization of columns and field visibility according to the way you want to view, prioritize, or analyze results.
